Hi there! I am a freshman at the University of Cincinnati majoring in Computer Science with prospective minors in Psychology and Spanish. I am a part of the University Honors Program.
I have diverse interests ranging from writing to programming. I am a part of the Editorial Team of Her Campus Cincinnati, an online magazine for women. I also have a personal blog (to be hyperlinked). I lived in Mexico for two years, which means yo hablo español! That was one of the most defining experiences of my life. It opened me up to a lot of different perspectives and inculcated a love for travelling in me. I love learning programming languages on my own, and am looking to brush up my skills this semester, and then diving right into web development. I have dabbled in calligraphy and sketching, language interpretation and spell bees. I have been very involved with environmental projects and am looking forward to continue that as a part of LEAP in college. I am also a member of Engineering Without Borders, for which I am involved with the Nyambogo Project.
Also, I love to read. I live to read, to be honest. And for cats. Because, cats. :3
In the future, I hope to get more involved with programming ventures and work on my personal writing projects.
